Our Purpose:

The VSUAA Northern Virginia Alumni Chapter exists exclusively to support educational and charitable goals. More specifically, the purpose of the Chapter is to fund educational scholarships, grants and other types of financial aid to students matriculating to VSU and to students currently enrolled. In addition, we assist community groups and individuals in educational, civic improvement and charitable activities.

Furthermore, we take pride in recruiting students to attend VSU and we assist in providing financial support to VSU in support of its goals and objectives.

We strive to encourage and maintain a friendly, working relationship among graduates, former students, faculty, and non-faculty personnel. We encourage a spirit of loyalty, love, and pride for our Alma Mater.

The Northern Virginia Chapter offers scholarships and grants to deserving high school and current VSU students. We are able to offer these scholarships and grants through our fundraising efforts and charitable donations from amazing alumni and community leaders. On average we give between $15,000 to $20,000 a year to the University through scholarships and our chapter endowment.

Would you like to impact a student by giving a charitable donation to our scholarship fund? If so, please do so through our secure portal (link to GIVE tab) or reach out to us directly at vsuaa.nova@gmail.com.
